Fluorecence-based surgery
One of our core expertise is precision oncology to improve surgical resection as well as adjuvant treatment of sarcoma patients. We focus on Near Infrared (NIR) Imaging and integrate molecular data into treatment planning and monitoring of disease progression.
We conduct studies to validate various NIR imaging systems, as well as clinical studies to investigate the impact of targeted NIR imaging on resection outcomes in dogs and cats with solid malignancies. Currently, we are conducting a large Phase 3 study in dogs with naturally occurring soft tissue sarcomas (https://data.snf.ch/grants/grant/10002503). We are also participating in the Bone Cancer Research Trust consortium for Fluorescence guided surgery.
