9th Poster and Networking Day 2026 Awards

At the 9th Poster and Networking Day of the Vetsuisse Faculty Zurich (October 2nd, 2026), the following researchers from our faculty were awarded with a prize for their outstanding poster presentations:
•    Poster Award Section “Pathobiology”: Akexandra Hickey, Institute for Parasitology, with the contribution “Following the Tick Trail: a One Health study in Switzerland”.

•    Poster Award Section “Clinics”: Martina Schmid, Farm Animal Clinic, Division of Swine Medicine, with the contribution “Camera-based body weight estimation of fattening pigs under practical outdoor housing conditions using two-dimensional image analysis”.

•    Poster Award Section “Preclinics”: Miho Sato, Diagnostic Imaging Research Unit, Clinic for Diagnostic Imaging, with the contribution “Advancing canine welfare monitoring: integrating machine learning for personalised behavioural analysis”.
