Success message from Institute of Veterinary Physiology

Alexandra Oliveira Carvas, former master student from Institute of Veterinary Physiology, received the "Masterarbeitspreis 2025" (1st prize) from the Medical Faculty of the University of Basel for her work "Role of RAMPs in regulating the therapeutic effects of amylin and calcitonin analogues in mice“ that she performed at the institute during her master thesis. Congratulations!

Her work has been published in August in Lancet E-Biomedicine: “Cagrilintide lowers bodyweight through brain amylin receptors 1 and 3”
