5th Poster and Networking Day

Poster Day

Date: Thursday, September 29th 2022, 13:00 - 18:00
Location: Virtual and/or around “Grosser Hörsaal (GHS)”, TFA 00.44

Have you ever wondered what the other researchers at our faculty are up to? What research questions they ask and what methods they use to answer these? If so, we are very happy to invite you to the 5th Poster and Networking day of the Vetsuisse Faculty Zürich. After the previous success, this fifth instalment maintains the core aim of enhancing the visibility of ongoing research projects and improving the networking between researchers from all levels at our faculty, both to exchange ideas and foster new collaborations between groups that share common interests or resources. We aim to display all submitted posters and to provide the opportunity to present the poster in a 90 second “elevator pitch” (“Mini-Presentations”), to represent the breadth of research carried out at our faculty. All posters can be discussed during the afternoon. The aim is to provide refreshments and nibbles to make sure that you don’t run out of energy. Poster prizes will be awarded to the best poster from clinics, preclinics and pathobiology as defined by a poster jury, and the most popular poster overall as defined by the audience. This will be followed by an open-ended evening mixer to further network with people with nibbles and drinks.

If we still have to keep to distance, we will provide an alternative program by a digital format  (e.g. with virtual poster space and interaction platforms) and the posters can still be presented to your colleagues.

The aims of the Poster and Networking Day are as follows:
    •    Share your project idea and your latest results
    •    Display of posters / elevator pitches
    •    Input from your peers and poster awards
    •    Network with your colleagues
    •    Find new collaboration partners
