Evaluation of Teaching

New members of the teaching staff need to evaluate their teaching activity during the first four semesters. Evaluations must be submitted with the habilitation application.

UZH offers the individual course Evaluation (ILE). It can be carried out at any time at your own request. All possible course types are evaluated and individual requests are possible.

Course Evaluations (LVE) are regularly conducted at each faculty at every two to three years for an entire academic year. The most important goal of the LVE is to promote dialogue about teaching at all university levels. It thus makes an important contribution to quality development at UZH. Find out more
